New Lower Prices on Prescription Medications and Supplements!
Published February 15, 2012
To all our clients:
We have some good news that we’d like to share with you about purchasing prescription medications for your pet.
Over the past few years, we have been acutely aware of the offerings made by many on-line pharmacies, and have struggled with ways to remain competitive while still providing the personalized, top-quality care that your pet deserves and that you have come to expect from Family Pet. As you might imagine, it is difficult for a small business like ours to compete financially against large companies with buying power, warehouse space, loss-leader pricing, and the like. But questions about the integrity of some on-line pharmacies, along with reports of our clients receiving suspect medications from them, have heightened the need for a pharmacy option that doesn't sacrifice quality for the sake of cost savings.
Fortunately, we have found a way to provide you and your pets with medications that we all can trust, at much more competitive prices. By joining a consortium of fellow independent, high-quality animal hospitals throughout the country, we now have access to many medications and supplements at lower costs and we will be passing these savings on to you. As of February 13, 2012, we have lowered the prices of many of the products that our patients use regularly, like heartworm preventives, flea and tick medications, joint supplements, non-steroidal pain relievers, fish oils, dermatology treatments, anxiety relievers, and incontinence medications.
While we understand that we will not be able to price-match to the penny, we are hopeful that the reductions we can now offer will enable you to conveniently purchase the medicines your pet needs from a source you know and trust.
As always, we appreciate your confidence and your business, and we continue to value the relationship that we have built together over the past 22 years.
Yours,
Family Pet Animal Hospital
