Emergency cases always come first at Family Pet Animal Hospital. If an
emergency injury or illness occurs during our regular office hours, you’ll
be seen as soon as possible. Because emergencies can happen at all hours,
there are three full-service emergency hospitals we recommend during the
times our hospital is closed:
Chicago
Veterinary Emergency Services has excellent emergency skills. If your
pet's condition is critical, such as difficulty breathing or bleeding,
they are the closest to our hospital.

Animal 911, located in
Skokie, is excellent at handling exotic pets as well as our canine and
feline patients.

Midwest
Animal Emergency Hospital
in Elmwood Park provides expert care for exotic pets in addition to
handling cat and dog emergencies, and may be the closest hospital near
you if you are on the far west side of Chicago.
